Westman Consortia

A number of school divisions in the Westman/Parkland area (Mountain View, Brandon, Park West, Rolling River, Southwest Horizon and Swan Valley) have been collaborating to provide remote learning for students in Kindergarten to Grade 8, who are immunocompromised or who have immunocompromised family members in their household and have been medically advised not to attend school. In an effort to support our MVSD families, we would like to offer parent/guardian tech training, which would focus on an overview of Microsoft Teams, accessing student marks and attendance in PowerSchool, available tech supports for MVSD families and tech Q & A. Staggered School Start Dates - Sep. 8-11

MVSD Playground Update - May 21, 2020

Based on advice from Public Health, play structures on MVSD playgrounds are open! Please note that structures are not regularly cleaned or sanitized. Apply hand sanitizer before and after use of the structure and maintain social distancing of 2 metres between users.

Accessible Technology Program

The Northwest Metis Council, in partnership with Mountain View School Division, is offering an Accessible Technology Program for families. Low income families can now apply to have a refurbished desktop or laptop with the Microsoft Office package for their children to use at home permanently with their studies.
